Ali, you have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about you and introduce us to your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Ali R. Jaber. I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. I currently live in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. I am of Lebanese decent. I am  currently a college honor student and I am majoring in Business Administration. I am also a member of The National Society of Leadership and Success; and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. I earned a Public Speaking certificate from Harvard University.

Since I was a child I have felt the urge to help others in any way I can. In the year 2019, Lebanon was hit by the hardest economical crisis in decades. The Lebanese people were struggling to survive because of this crisis. I attempted to start a non-profit to help the people of Lebanon financially; however this did not go well. I then tried to think of other ways I could help the Lebanese people. A thought came to me to help them through motivational speeches. I started making motivational videos and I started to post them on social media. I wanted to give my people hope, motivation, and a sense of wellness. I started creating motivational video’s in Arabic for the people of Lebanon.

After publishing some videos, I started to become more popular and I began to gain thousands of Lebanese followers. They all loved my motivational speeches/videos. They started to look forward to my video postings, and cheered me on.

I am originally from the Southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh, however I became popular all across the Lebanese borders. People from all over the country now follow me. Since I reside in the United States, there is no way I can meet all of my followers in person, this is why I thought posting motivational videos on social media  would be the best way to connect with them.

Every day hundreds of Lebanese followers ask me to go to Lebanon and to run as a city leader. They love how I treat every individual with dignity, respect, and kindness regardless of their financial status. Some even named me the voice of Lebanon. I am proud to be known in every Lebanese city.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

I had to do everything on my own. I lost the support of many family members because they did not appreciate my new found popularity. I have had to deal with ethnic discrimination in the United States as well. Most of the support I get is from my loyal followers. I have not had the support of many friends and relatives which as caused me to go about my mission alone. I now create my videos for the ones that appreciate me.  At first no one cared about my videos, however, now that they have grown in popularity, I am proud of how many followers I have now.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What makes you  good at what you do?

I have always loved public speaking since I was a child. I feel like public speaking is a natural gift that I was born with. I have always been confident, blunt, and authentic. I speak from my heart. I have always loved helping others. I reach out and help people on a daily basis in any way I can.

People often come to me when they need help filing online applications, legal documents and for motivational support. People close to me call me the problem solver as I try to help everyone with their problems. The speaking certificate I earned from Harvard gave me more knowledge and confidence. I learned so many tips and tricks that I have adopted and use in my motivational videos.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

To always pursue your dreams regardless of if your loved ones support you. To never give up and to keep trying even if you fail at first. We have to dream the dream in order to live it, we cannot live the dream if we don’t dream of it first. I always say keep your hopes up and always have motivation.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success to me means making your dreams reality; to not be dependent on anyone in life. And to educate yourself and attain financial stability.

What’s next for you?

I hope to someday run a non-profit to help the less fortunate people in Lebanon.
