Duane, why don’t you give us some details about you and introduce us to your agency.
My name is Duane Freeman and I am a senior benefits specialist. I am nationally recognized and certified. My agency is Fiduciary Wealth and Senior Benefits. My agency helps seniors recognize if employer benefits, health care benefits, or benefits from private organizations are in their best of interest.
Over the course of my owning business I have spoken with thousands of seniors. Many of those seniors have been taken advantage of or unaware of loopholes not in their best of interest. Unfortunately when some seniors come for advice, it’s too late and they have already experienced hardship, or have already fallen victim to a predatory plan.
I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?
Fiduciary Wealth and Senior Benefits has grown to over 6,000 clients across the U.S. Our client base includes well known celebrities, and we excel at helping seniors every day. As you can imagine, we are in very high demand. This is especially true since we began doing free benefit reviews, and also waiving consultation fees for seniors 50 and over. We have been swamped with requests. The agency currently has a waiting list. Fiduciary Wealth and Senior Benefits has been getting seniors up to $100,000 in benefits that they didn’t know they were entitled to. It has been our mission to help every senior that we possibly can. Our challenge is keeping up with all the appointments. Our team has been amazing in reaching out to everyone, including all on the waiting list.
Let’s talk about the work you do. What makes you good at what you do?
We encourage every senior to make sure they know exactly what benefits they have and are entitled to. The biggest mistake made by our clients is that they think they know what benefits they have, then later realize they don’t actually have the benefits they need. Often when they realize this its too late. Unfortunately the one who suffers is the individual and their family. We ensure this never happens to the seniors we speak with and that they have all the benefits they are entitled to.
What’s next for you Duane?
My continuing goal for the agency is to help every senior we can. We get so many requests due to many seniors being scammed. Our mission is to assist every senior while we have the resources to conduct the meetings for free. Any senior can go to our site calendar and see if we have any available free meetings. If so, we will make sure that each person 50 and over has every benefit they are entitled to, and fully explain their current benefits.
