Q: Thank you for joining us, Dino. Tell us about Dinosaur Nutrition: What is the mission of Dinosaur Nutrition and what brought you to launch this company?

Sure, thank you for having me today! Dinosaur Nutrition USA is a natural health supplement company that specializes in botanical health blends which offer relief from different health conditions. We take pride in natural, herbal health straight from mother earth. Our formulas are crafted right in the USA in FDA registered facilities under strict manufacturing guidelines. We released our supplement company in 2013 with the thought of bringing reliable, science-based nutrition to men and women worldwide.

My passion for health and fitness led me to experiment with many different nutraceuticals and other health supplements. This passion also led me to get my certifications in Herbal Medicine through the University of Minnesota.

My wife had always encouraged me to create my own line of health products. Through trial and error and R&D, we released Dinosaur Nutrition USA – Providing products that are proven to work. We are passionate about making an impact with Dinosaur Nutrition USA. This is why we choose to donate to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Part of being a company to us means being a responsible one. This is our way of giving back and standing for a purpose while “leaving our footprint behind”

In 2011, I lost my big brother to this disease and we make it our mission to be a part of finding a cure. We tend to get asked why we chose the name Dinosaur…The name Dinosaur came from my wife calling me Dinosaur. And we thought what better name than the proven concept of these creatures and how they left their mark on earth and became a critical part of our history.

Q: Dinosaur Nutrition is taking some unique approaches to wellness, weight management and longevity. Can you tell us about some of your products and how they came about?

Of course. The key piece we always implement before launching a product is research. We believe heavily in studying these nutrients on the human body and what conditions they may help with. Along with this research comes understanding exactly who these formulas will help. This is why you will see our products are very condition-specific. A handful of these products came about with our own health issues that we wanted to address and get relief from such as our Detox supplement, COLOBOTAN which leverages vegetables used for centuries to get relief from bloating, backed up waste and “pushed out bellies”, naturally.

The same goes for our liquid weight loss formula BioELEVEN that incorporates amino acids like L-Glutamine which is clinically proven to help with weight loss even without exercise. This formula was created because we searched for a solution to shed off the extra unwanted weight that builds up as we age. Healthy and natural.

Q: What is your company’s greatest success story, so far?

Every health product of ours that helps someone get relief or results is a win for us. Each individual’s positive experience with Dinosaur Nutrition USA is our success story. We are proud to be able to offer reliable health formulas and are excited to release some of our new formulas for 2022.

Q: Your products have a good deal of studies to back up their claims.  What kind of strategies do you use to explore the science and make your final decisions as to which ingredients belong and which can be left behind?

When researching ingredients and potential formulas, we leverage databases like Pubmed which has more than 30 million citations for biomedical literature. Pubmed is a free search engine accessing primarily the MEDLINE database of references and abstracts on life sciences and biomedical topics.
By leveraging Pubmed and pulling up the studies on individual ingredients along with their interactions with other ingredients, we are able to make educated decisions when releasing a viable product. Pubmed is not the only source we use to get data, but is a staple for us. After this process, we discuss the potential formula with other formulation specialists.
If it makes sense up until this point, we then sample the formula with a group of individuals.  Then, we get ready to release the product.
