Raidel, it is such an honor to get to speak to you today.

You have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about yourself. How did you get to where you are today?

Tampalovebirds.com was created in 2011 by my father Raidel Marrero. It was his college project. He started breeding lovebirds in our back yard in 2006. When he had any extra baby lovebirds, he would call me so I could post and sell them on Craigslist for him.  Over time there were more and more birds available for sale; and I was getting more and more calls from customers. They would ask to have pictures send to their emails to see the birds that my father had available for sale. After they saw the birds available, they would come to my home and pick the birds up.  I decided to create a website to feature a list of questions frequently asked by customers so that when they found my ads online, they  could go to the website and have most of their questions answered in advance. When they called me they had less questions to ask, and I could then focus on closing the sale. Over time, the website gained more and more traffic. Customers from other states were calling and asking if we could ship the birds to them. Today, tampalovebirds.com is one of the most reputable sites on the internet to purchase a pet bird. Over 100 pet stores nation wide buy wholesale from us, and we have over 6000 retail customers throughout the USA. We have managed to grow our breeding farm to over 600 breeding pairs of Lovebirds, Cockatiels, Quakers, Indian Ring neck and Green Cheek Conures. We also sell other species of birds on our website, making it possible for every family in the USA to find a pet bird regardless of where they reside. We can ship them safely, directly to the customer’s door.

Raidel, I am sure you success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to face along the way?

Its has not been easy to grow my business to the level that it’s at now. In 2014, the company became incorporated as an LLC. I became dedicated to the business and it became a full time venture for me. I am proud that I turned  my father’s hobby into a multiple figure a year business. I have had to make many sacrifices along the way. I had to sacrifice some important relationships. I also have had to sell my personal vehicles multiple times to invest in the business to stay afloat. I opened a brick and mortar Pet Shop in 2010. That venture unfortunately went bankrupt. I tried again in 2017. After investing thousands of dollars into the new store, the building I rented got sold, and I lost all of the money I had invested in my business. I was fortunate that my online business was doing well.  Thanks to the online business tampalovebirds.com, I feel as if I can overcome any obstacle that life throws my way.

Raidel, let’s talk about the work you do and tampalovebirds.com. What makes you good at what you do?

We breed our birds with lots of care and love.  We provide our customers with good quality pets. We have developed a system where we are able to ship to any home, in any state in the USA. We guarantee the birds arrive alive, or we refund  the customer. We take pride in our transparency. We make sure that every customer is  100% satisfied.

Raidel,what is your best piece of advice for readers that want to achieve success in their lives?

If you want to have success in life you cannot quit. You have to persevere through the good and bad times. It is consistency that will give you results in life.  One also needs to have a passion and a motivation that will give you the strength and focus to keep moving forward when one may feel at times that things are going backwards. In short, NEVER GIVE UP!

Speaking of success Raidel, what does that word mean to you?

For me success means accomplishing current goals which include both short and long term goals. This is what makes me feel alive.

What is next for you Raidel?

My mission in life is to prevent my family from losing money  on the internet due to scams. Another goal is to get global exposure for tampalovebirds.com so that I can provide pet birds to every person in the world that wants one.
