You have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about you and introduce us to your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I go by Snapback08, but my real name is Duhamel Freud Georges. I was born and raised in Haiti; a young talented Haitian man with a great vision. I’m an actor, artist and computer scientist. I graduated at Broward college. To be where I am today, I had to set up a plan in my life and trust the process even though it wasn’t easy. I came to USA when I was 19 years old with a purpose. I’ve always wanted to be an actor/artist as a kid. I remembered how I started recording my music from an iPod, and also using the same iPod to record skits. Today, I can say thanks be to God that I’m already have played a part in3 movies; Jet 1, Valley of Death, and Jet 2, which you can find on Amazon Prime.

I’ve met with some great people who have been part of my path of success. I want to give a big shout out to Anderson, Blecks, the whole Flexxgang and Selfmade. It’s not easy to find people who will believe in you and your dream. I want to say thank you to my whole Family; my mom, dad, brother and sister. I’m really grateful for the people I have in my circle. It’s just the beginning. The journey is not over yet. I have more work to do. I’m also a stylist, I love to dress which has given me the opportunity to open my own clothing line “Beestmode”. I used to be that guy to have to rent a spot to shoot film at  other people’s studio; now I have my own film studio “Creative sets studio”. Trust the process and never give up. God has a plan for each one of us, just wait for your time.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

My mom always tells me, ‘If it comes easy it won’t last.’ I’ve had to overcome so many challenges during my journey; but they’ve made me who I am today. I’ve failed so many times but I have never quit.  Martin Luther king says “If you can’t fly, run and if you can’t run, walk, then if you can’t walk, just crawl as long as you keep going”. My biggest challenge that I’ve had to overcome was not pleasing all people. But now I feel, as long as I’m happy, this is all that counts. Not everybody will like what you do, not everybody will support you, at the end of the day you only have yourself. Love yourself, love what you do and watch how great you will be in life.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What makes you good at what you do?

What makes me good at what I do is my confidence. I’ve never been to school for acting or music, but I patiently worked on bettering myself by practicing everyday in front of a mirror and developing my confidence.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My best piece of advice for them is to love what you do, and to seize the moment. Make a plan, execute the plan and never quit. There is a lot of bad energy floating around, but if you’re being positive, that bad energy will vanish into thin air. Those barriers you’ll encounter in your life are just distractions; so don’t let them deter you from where you’re trying to go. No rush, your time is coming.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Many people see success as making a lot of money or being famous; but for me, I see it as  accomplishing anything you’ve set to do in your life; whether that thing is big or small does not matter. Success is a blessing . If you can set a plan and execute it, that is a form of success. The money and everything else will come after.

What’s next for you?

Next for me is to execute everything in my set plan. Developing my clothing line, making more music, acting in more movies, and the list goes on and on.
