Mr. Urshon, it is such an honor to get to speak to you today.
You have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about yourself. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Marc Jean. I am a Haitian artist and I go by the name of Mr Urshon. I am an avid Tiktoker. During the pandemic, I lost 2 important people in my life. One of them was a friend from Italy, he always liked my voice so I decided to make a song for him. At the same time it was important to also spread awareness for people to stay home because of the spread of Covid-19. While at home I had time to put together a beautiful song devoted to my friend titled ‘Stay Home’. Alas, the song didn’t draw a lot of attention. It was released on all platforms distributed by Distrokid. I still felt good about the song however, as I wanted to honor my friend who passed. You can hear the sadness in my voice when you listen to the song.
Mr.Urshon, I am sure you success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to face along the way?
When I made the song I did not know if it would be a success or not although I had hoped it would be. I do believe my song is a nice song with heart, it has the potential to blow up!
Mr. Urshon, let’s talk about the work you do and What makes you good at what you do?
I have always been a music lover. My father is a musical genius. Musicality runs in our family.
Mr. Urshon,what is your best piece of advice for readers that want to achieve success in their lives?
If you want to have success in life you have to follow your heart!
Speaking of success Mr. Urshon, what does that word mean to you?
For me success means accomplishing current goals which include both short and long term goals. This is what makes me feel alive, and what I strive for daily.
What is next for you Mr. Urshon?
My mission in life is to focus on changing my life, and others lives for the better.
