This dated business model has created massive distrust in the industry, and enabled agencies to deliver sub-par results and charge top-dollar premiums. When campaigns failed to deliver the results their clients needed, they would cling to vanity metrics like link clicks and view impressions. Ali noticed that most marketing agencies weren’t an asset to their clients, but a liability. Producing nothing but a cash drain and creating uncertainty.
