Nikos, you have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about you and introduce us to your story. How did you get to where you are today? 

My name is Nikos Rakis and I started Ploutos Gold and Silver LLC after living through the crazy year of 2020 and the pandemic. I was noticing how our government was going crazy with printing currency, and I knew that was not a good sign for the average citizen. Purchasing Gold and Silver bullion was just a hobby for me until 2020. I was in the wedding industry, however the industry was completely destroyed in 2020. I felt that I had no choice but to do something else. I felt that this was a way I could help as many people as possible secure themselves against inflation; while at the same time provide for my family. Since gold and silver had outlived every single fiat currency and had been around for over 5000 years, it is my belief it will be here for another 5000 years.

Nikos I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

One challenge for Ploutos Gold and Silver is that the company is a small, and family owned. We do not have the buying power and marketing budget of the “bigger” bullion dealers. We have been able to build our business by offering the personal touch that the big companies can not offer. Our  biggest challenge was building a website that could offer all of our products at the live current rate of the market. After months and months of working on our website, we are finally able to offer great deals, and often better deals than other bullion dealers online. Our hours are from Sunday at 6pm to Friday at 5pm EST.
