Jose, you have a powerful story. Why don’t you give us some details about you and introduce us to your story. How did you get to where you are today?

I was about to lose my job even though I provided amazing results to my employer, and had a baby on the way when I learned about job sites. I came up with my own strategy as to how to use them to become a consultant and scale the business through replication of my work habits across a team. With no money I reinvested my profits each month to recruit people to my team and eventually even started doing the same for others. I started to focus mainly on what I know best which is sales and marketing. I have been lucky enough to build an amazing team of unique individuals that have provided growth for our company: YELLOWBERRY HUB.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

Being unfinanced til this day is always a challenge, but I am confident we can continue on this path before we decide to go that way without having to give up equity and losing our values and individuality along the way. Finding the right people is always a challenge specially when projects need to start right away.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What makes you good at what you do?

We have been the only Latin American company in the world to remain TOP RATED and TOP RATED PLUS for 5 years straight in Upwork.com, which is the biggest freelance site in the world. This means that we are essentially a guarantee to get the job done and clients are open to view our reviews. We aren’t hiding anything.

What makes us good is that we have a keen sense to identify crucial variables within sales and marketing cycles. This allows our clients to view their companies from the inside, things that usually a high level CEO or Executive miss out on. If our clients trust us and listen to us, they will grow and scale up, our formula is proven and we know how to get it done. We continue to grow year by year with almost no marketing/monetary efforts, simply by the buzz of our results.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Always give it your all. If you are sleeping then you have time. Do not settle and always hustle.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

I tend to view it mostly personal. If my family and those close to me are good then there is success. The top is only good when you got peace and people to share it with.

What’s next for you?

Continue growing. I want to identify more companies that trust my work enough to grow and scale with me. If we scale their companies, we scale ours. We work hard to ensure our clients understand the decisions that will make them scale up or down, and we have been lucky enough to find partners that trust us throughout this path. I hope we can help companies like these trust the methods that will get them where they need and want to be. It’s all about growing together!
