Leaders from different parts of the world came together at TAJ Dubai, UAE at the “Shaping the Future of Education” conference hosted by The Abrahamic Business Circle on 29th May 2021.
Prominent individuals from government agencies, investment firms, and educational institutions attended the conference. They discussed the importance of Education Technology, Intercultural Behavior, the Future of Education, Transhumanism, Luxury Education, Immigration on Education, and Education & Investment.
The global health pandemic has shined a harsh light on the vulnerabilities and challenges faced by humanity. It has provided a clear picture of what steps forward we need to take; among them is the need for education for more than 1 billion students whose learning has been hampered due to school closures. The Abrahamic Business Circle Education Conference provided momentous round table discussions most notably on How Investing in Education Stimulates the Economy & How Literacy on Intercultural Behaviors Affect Economic Outcomes and The Future of Hybrid/Blended Learning in Edu-Tech and the Impact of Immigration on Education.
Several diplomats were present including Her Excellency Hjayceelyn M Quintana-Ambassador of Philippines to the UAE, Her Excellency Rose-Ann Benjamin-Consul General of Grenada, His Excellency Franz Michael Skjold Mellbin-Ambassador of Denmark to the UAE, His Excellency Lalit Perera-Consul General of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Ahmed Elmetwally, His Excellency Albino Malungo-Ambassador of the Republic of Angola to the UAE, and His Excellency Bahodur Sharifi-Ambassador of Tajikistan to the UAE.
H.E. Dr. Raphael Nagel, the Founder and Chairman of The Abrahamic Business Circle gracefully awarded ten academic full scholarships for Filipino students to the Embassy of the Philippines in UAE under the leadership of Her Excellency Ambassador Hjayceelyn M. Quintana. The recipients of the scholarship will study at the California Metropolitan University (CMU), U.S.
The organization also awarded and recognized notable individuals for their significant contribution to the Circle and society. Among these were Mitch Lowe who received Distinguished Mentor Award 2021 and David Arkless who also received recognition for Outstanding Global Contribution in Labor Migration.
